Rough Day (Spider Gwen)

I noticed that the majority of Spider-Gwen art and fan art, which are all fantastic, were lighthearted in contrast to the “Most Wanted?” arc, and barely any “dark and gritty” art existed.  This was a major factor in brainstorming Spider-Gwen fan art ideas in my head, and it was a good contrast to my Silk fan art.

For this, I took some inspiration from The Amazing Spider-Man (last act where he gets tasered), The Dark Knight Rises (cops chasing Batman), and the skirmish between Gwen and the Punisher in issue #3.

I decided to add some texture to her outfit, with references from the Spider-Man movies.  I had a lot of fun working on this, and happy with how it turned out.
